VOLT SCHOOL / LEGAL NOTEBOOK
Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Karim Ali, trading as Volt School, operates this website and Volt School Publisher in Egypt. For privacy questions and requests, contact privacy@volt-school.com.
2. Website visitors
We do not add cookies, visitor tracking or analytics to this website. It does not require a login. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies when a security challenge is required. Cloudflare processes standard server logs, including IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the website and public video links. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Links to external platforms take you to their websites, where their own privacy practices apply. We link to videos rather than embedding third-party video players.
If you email us, we process your email address, any name you provide and your message to respond and handle your request. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards enquiries to our Google Gmail mailbox. These providers process correspondence under their own privacy policies, including the Google Privacy Policy. We keep correspondence only as needed to respond and maintain records of privacy requests. Please do not send passwords or access tokens.
3. Volt School Publisher
Volt School Publisher uses YouTube API Services and the official APIs of TikTok, LinkedIn and Meta to prepare, schedule and publish Volt School’s own videos and posts, subject to available permissions and platform approvals. TikTok videos are currently sent as drafts for review and publication in the TikTok app. It is an internal, self-hosted tool for the Volt School team, not a public service. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Data we access, collect, store and use
- OAuth access tokens and associated authorization credentials for Volt School’s own connected accounts, to authorize publishing and refresh access.
- Basic channel and profile information, including account name, ID and picture, to identify the connected publishing destination.
- Videos, post content, titles and descriptions that Volt School publishes, to prepare, schedule and deliver that content.
- Post status and performance statistics, to confirm publication and review the performance of Volt School’s own content.
Sharing and storage
Publisher sends account credentials and publishing data only to the platform being published to, as required by its official API. Data is not sold, used for advertising or shared with unrelated third parties. Authorized Volt School team members can access it to operate the tool and handle privacy requests. Cloudflare processes public video files and delivery information when it provides the public HTTPS links needed by a publishing platform.
Publisher data is stored on Volt School’s own computer in a self-hosted installation. There is no third-party Publisher data storage, except Cloudflare for the public video links. Published content is also stored by the destination platform under that platform’s terms.
Retention and deletion
YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. All data held by Publisher for a connected account, including stored credentials, profile data and API-derived status and statistics, is deleted as soon as possible and within 7 days after access is revoked or deletion is requested. This includes relevant copies in caches, logs and backups under our control. Original course source files kept separately from Publisher are not connected-account API data. Deleting Publisher’s local data does not automatically remove posts already published on a platform; manage those posts on that platform.
Revoke access
- Google/YouTube: remove Volt School Publisher through Google Account permissions.
- Facebook/Instagram: open Settings → Apps and websites and remove Volt School Publisher. Also check Business integrations if the connection is listed there. Facebook settings are available through Apps and websites.
- TikTok: open Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions, select Volt School Publisher and remove access. Menu labels may vary by app version.
- LinkedIn: open Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services, and remove Volt School Publisher. See Permitted services.
You can also email privacy@volt-school.com to request deletion. Detailed steps are on our Data Deletion Instructions page.

Read the Google API Services User Data Policy.
4. Other platform policies
The privacy policies of TikTok, LinkedIn and Meta, including Instagram, apply to data and content processed by those platforms.
5. Deletion requests
To request deletion of any connected-account data Publisher holds, email privacy@volt-school.com from the account’s address, or revoke access in the platform’s settings. We may ask for the minimum information needed to verify ownership. We delete the account data within 7 days and confirm by email. See Data Deletion Instructions.
6. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we hold such information, contact our privacy email so we can investigate and delete it.
7. Changes
We announce changes by updating this page and its effective date. Material changes affecting connected-account data will also be communicated to the Volt School team before taking effect.
8. Privacy questions and rights
